The Hawaii GPU is based on the new GCN 2.0 architecture with 2816 shader processors distribued over 44 compute units. The GPU has 176 texture units, 64 ROP units, 8 memory controllers (MC) connected to 4GB of GDDR5 memory with a 512-bit bus width.
