Intel has released a new driver for its HD Graphics 4000/2500 GPUs under Windows 7/8. This new driver v9.18.10.3071 adds new OpenGL extensions, OpenCL 1.2 support, extends Intel features like Intel Quick Sync Video to systems with discrete graphics, improves performance for Ultrabook systems and fixes multiple bugs.

Ahmad: you can download the .exe version of the driver, which installed fine on my Dell XPS 12. The .zip version complained about incompatible hardware.
