MadView3D is a free 3D model viewer. It’s a standalone application available on Windows and Linux (x86-64 / arm64) platforms. Thanks to MadView3D, you can quickly load a 3D model (a lot of file formats are supported: .3ds, .obj, .fbx, .gltf, .stl and much more…) and spin around it. Various useful functions are available: camera orbit or fly mode, debug texture, vertex normal, lighting color, sub-mesh selection (3D picking) + hide / show, etc.
MadView3D 0.5.x is a maintenance release and is based on the latest GeeXLab 0.60. Lighting is now disabled by default (can be enabled in the Model tab) and models are rendered with base texture color only. A bug has been fixed and settings are now correctly saved in the database.
