SAPPHIRE has released a Radeon R9 290X with a whopping graphics memory size: the card comes with non less than 8GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5600MHz effective speed. Such a large framebuffer is useful for UHD/4K resolutions. The GPU core is clocked at 1060MHz and the PCB requires two 8-pin power connectors.
