R196.21 adds one new OpenGL extension: GL_NVX_gpu_memory_info. This extension is not yet documented but from its name we can imagine this extension will allows to retrieve some information about the GPU and the graphics memory. AMD exposes also this kind of functionality via WGL_AMD_gpu_association (this extension allows to create a rendering context per GPU but has also some info about GPU and memory).
