Catzilla is a new benchmark for Windows by the Polish demogroup Plastic. Catzilla is a realtime short movie that will be used to test our GPUs. Catzilla should be available in November 2012…
This is my first post from a Mac… a Macbook Pro… 😉
Update (2012.10.16): I contacted Plastic for an essential question: Catzilla, OpenGL or Direct3D???
And here’s the answer:
Catzilla is both OpenGL and Direct3D. The supported systems are XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8 (both 32 and 64 bit). The minimum requirements are: D3D10 GPU, 512 MB VRAM (256 MB are currently not supported).
Thanks bonzaj 😉
Looks good 🙂
Plastic demo group has already done great job on ps3 demo
Related to MacBook Pro why you don’t post how/if
*Getting Optimus to work on Windows via BootCamp is possible? if not what is the default GPU? disabling some GPU in device manager is posible for forcing on GPU?
*Also does Lucid VirtuMVP work with laptop (in trial mode as BIOS of course don’t have keys)
*Is posible (it’s working?) to use hack for Linux (Bumblebee Project) for hybrid rendering on Linux?
Basically asking how hybrid rendering Works on other OSes on Mac HW
