Breakpoint 2010 - Agenda Circling Forth

Breakpoint 2010 - Agenda Circling Forth

This is a Direct3D 9 product. You must have a powerful system to run it. On my quad core X 9650 + GTX 260, I got an average of 10FPS.
This demo has 0 (zero) polygon but tons of shaders and millions particles… I guess this demo is based on Smash’s modern particle system vision

    THANK YOU!!!
Really demoscenes is the only software I love and demoscene artists are the only people I love, in all entire world!

  2. Psolord

    Yes, thank you really.

Please keep us informed whenever scene releases are out.

Well, we can always pay a visit to http://www.scene.org but there are more itneresting stuff on geeks 3D all the time! 😉

Talking about interesting things, where is that Fluidmark 1.2 anyway?

    Thanks Psolord!

FluidMark is coming. It’s finished at 99%, still one or two minor things to polish and above all I have to test it on my brand new core i7 960 that is not yet in service. I’ll try to install my new dev rig this weekend 😉

    OK, cool.

    We’ll be waiting.

Also loved the way you described how your system performs in these demos.

Indeed, Agenda was running like 20-30 fps on my rig. A core i7-860@4.0Ghz and a Radeon 5850@850Mhz.

Fr043 on the other hand was running at a solid 60fps, even when I was recording it with fraps at 1080P at the same time! lol! I bet your 960 will kick its butt as well! 😛

    I also enjoyed Nuance’s Zcareplex MK 5

Pity there was no entry from ASD. I bet they are cooking up something good for the next party! 😀

Oh and MandelDuck does not work for me.

Latest catalyst, crossfire disabled, full screen or window on whatever resolution! :S

It plays the music, but it shows a blank screen! 🙁

Thanks for the update! Nice to see the demo scene is still going strong after all these years. Some really top notch prods here. Was hoping for some ASD though..

I am really disappointed by the fr-43. First off it is 80 MBytes? WTF that is *HUGE* for a demo and totaly defeats the whole purpose of a demo. And then I wondering where all the 80 MBytes actually went because visually it looks a bit disappointing and I just can’t see where the bytes went most of the geometry in the scenes really could have been created procedually. I think even a video capture would be smaller than 80 Mbytes.
