Another terrain, with cheap trees made of spheres with some noise. Not complete really, but I must move on. Analytic normals for terrain, tree envelope intersection, analytical normals for clouds, and other tricks involved. Art composed to camera as usual

Runs at 48-50FPS on a GTX 1060 with R376.19.


I got 71 to 74 fps after 25 seconds at LQ (windowed 800x480) running "new" EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+@stock speeds with 376.09WHQL (HQ). :)


Almost 6 years later... 😉

I got ~585 to ~615 fps after 25 seconds at LQ (windowed 800x480) running new Zotac RTX 4090@stock speeds with 526.98WHQL (HQ). This new card is 8x faster than my old EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+!?!! Wow!! 😲😁😊
