GeexLab 0.13 Direct X 12 CRASH on startup
« on: February 28, 2017, 02:31:06 PM »
Hello:

Does anybody have the Geexlab utility crash on any Direct x 12 running Intel HD Graphics (3000 & 4000) on Windows 10 Anniversay Update?

It runs the OpenGL stuff just fine, but forget about running Direct X 12 samples.

Have a  board with Gigabyte Wifi.

Where is the error log located?

Attached is my dxdiag dump.

Ok I've done a test with my notebook ASUS GL553VD that has a GTX 1050 and a HD Graphics 630. And at first sight, DX12 demos work fine on the HD Graphics 630 (with graphics driver v4550):

According to your dxdiag report, you have the driver v4358. Maybe this old driver is the source of the crash. Try a more recent one:
- v4590
- v4501
