>>download now<<<

 Build Information
   - Build Date: Sep 22 2016
   - Build Time: 11:16:15
   - Build CL: 21184911

 Incl. 64 bit executable

Adds support for the yet unannounced Quadro P2000 and P4000

Compared to v5.324 this version adds the command: createlic - Create the License placeholder

Reminder: only MXM versions of mobile GPUs are supported, GPUs whose VBIOS is embedded in main BIOS fail with a stack of error messages
However you can grab a copy of the VBIOS from the registry: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001\Session]
 "vbios"=...

As usual use at your own risk!

Hi,

And what about any linux version?
("latest" linux version do not support Pascal cards)

nVidia should provide linux version, too...

NVFlash 5.278.0  seems to be latest floating around, indeed it lacks of Pascal support.
Linux versions are issued very rarely along with updates for professional GPUs.

Thanks for response,

I have many linux servers placed on remote site. I would do vBIOS update remotely if the linux version with Pascal support would be available.
I just want to avoid on-site intervention - wasting probably many hours while connecting SSD drive with Windows - to each of them.

actually, nvflash utility is NVIDIA software or third party software?

Good question! According to the number of occurrences of "NVIDIA" or "NVIDIA Corp" in the exe, nvflash is likely developed by NVIDIA. This link says that nvflash is written by NVIDIA.

"This document provides a brief overview of tools such as nvflash and tegrarcm, which are used to program flash devices attached to Tegra, and related tasks."
http://http.download.nvidia.com/tegra-public-appnotes/flashing-tools.html

that was my last try, when I was fighting on nVidia support chat - convincing that nvflash IS NOT third party software...
- so I'm waiting now for response from nVidia enterprise support level :)

nVidia support: Hi, my name is .... How may I help you?
 me: Hi,
me: there is nvflash utility for updating vBIOS on GPU
me: please provide me the link to nvflash for linux, which support Pascal architecture
me: because I wasn't able to find that
nVidia support: I am sorry, nvflash utility is not a NVIDIA software. It is a third party software and we do not support it.
me: ok, what utility for flashing vBIOS you support?
nVidia support: We do not have any utility for flashing vBIOS.
me: who is the author of nvflash, then?
nVidia support: Not sure of that, but it is available from https://www.techpowerup.com/. So you can have a check with them.
 me: wait...
me: "Nvflash is a computer program written by NVIDIA that allows device makers and hardware developers"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Nvflash
 me: written by NVIDIA
 me: "
me: "NVIDIA releases nvflash in binary form only, for Windows and Linux"
 me:
nvflash utility IS the NVIDIA software, then
nVidia support: The information provided here is incorrect.
 me: no, is correct:

http://developer.download.nvidia.com/assets/mobile/files/tegra-linux-12.alpha.1.0.tar.gz

that package on your developer site contain nvflash - so nvflash MUST BE nVidia software
nVidia support: Unfortunately, we do not have any such nvflash utility for GPUs.
 me:
check your resources, because definitely nVidia provide nvflash, as shown above
nVidia support: I have already checked by resources. We do not provide any nvflash utility.
 me: http://softonet.pl/NVFlash,Karty.graficzne.NVIDIA,11721.html

Author:NVIDIA Corporation
 nVidia support: Incorrect.
me: it's silly I must convince you that nVidia is the author of nvflash... How you will explain this:

http://http.download.nvidia.com/tegra-public-appnotes/flashing-tools.html

"This document provides a brief overview of tools such as nvflash and tegrarcm, which are used to program flash devices attached to Tegra, and related tasks."

Is that document written by nVidia or not?
nVidia support: I will not be able to argue with you anymore. I will go ahead and escalate this issue to our higher team. You will receive an update regarding this at j...@op.pl
 me: OK, thanks
I need linux version for Pascal architecure (recent releases of nvflash are only windows, lack of linux)
nVidia support: You're welcome. Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care. Have a good day.
me: please send me the ticket number
nVidia support: Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care. Have a good day.
 nVidia support: 161112-000312
me: please send me the info to my mail yet: j...@op.pl
 nVidia support: Sure.
 me: Thank you!
 You have disconnected.
