furmark diff results at diff times, why?

Hi,

I've noticed for a couple months that furmark 1.17 gives different results but don't get why. I've got an EVGA GTX 970 and don't overclock under Win7x64. Some days I'll get ~4000 (67 fps) for the 1920x1080 benchmark, other days ~4400 (73 fps).

What could be causing this?

It's weird because usually, FurMark gives consistent results. Maybe the GPU throttled down for some reasons (check the core clock with GPU Shark or GPU-Z to see if there's throttling). Not easy to give you an answer.
