So, I looked at this file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_d03105a152ac7ed4\igvk64.dll
And it is a Vulkan Driver..
Please Help!! :o ??? >:(
Check c:\Program Files\Geeks3D\MSI Kombustor 4 x64\_kombustor_log.txt for errors
Run GPU Caps Viewer, check Vulkan tab,
try 3D demos/ Vulkan samples (except from the Mesh sample)
Export GPU data from tools tab.
Your driver is quite old, i think missing Vulkan extensions are reported by the program
Probably there are Vulkan fixes in later Intel drivers.
Thanks for your reply. I was able to figure out that it was a driver for my onboard hdmi 2nd monitor. I tried to do an Update Driver from it's Properties page, but it said I had the most current driver available. So I deleted the device and removed the drivers, and also emptied the cache in the Device Manager (File/Options/Disk Cleanup). But on reboot it just loaded the same drivers.
So I just disabled the 'Display Adapters/Intel HD Graphics 530' device. And Kombuster worked.
But thanks for reminding me to actually go to the Intel website and check for drivers. I guess sometimes Windows Driver search is not good? Do you use that feature, or always just look for drivers manually online?
