Kombustor: Is there a method to disable updates?

I updated my version of Kombustor and now I am pestered with the browser opening up and requesting to download the next version. This is most inconvenient in that it interferes with accurate benchmarking when I am trying to eliminate background CPU usage.

I ended up back-revving the version to an older version which does not do this but I suspect I may be missing something obvious. A google search states that there is a way to disable it via the "Setting Button" in the upper right hand corner. I do not see any evidence of said button. I couldn't find evidence of an INI or CFG file either.

I was able to find mention in a Reddit post from 3 years ago but the post went dark with nobody answering this poor guy's question.

Create a link for MSI-Kombustor-x64.exe
Right-click link icon to edit properties

Change link->target like this:

"C:\Program Files\Geeks3D\MSI Kombustor 4 x64\MSI-Kombustor-x64.exe" -no_version_check

I added a config file in Kombustor 4.1.24 that allows to disable the check for new versions. I release v4.1.24 as soon as possible.

Otherwise, the solution provided by Stefan works as well.
