Advice for future IT manager with a different background
« on: October 20, 2018, 10:28:09 PM »
I work in accounting and have a bachelor's degree in business and administration. My employer started using RPA in basic accounting functions and got a major boost in efficiency. I applied to uni and sent a application to HR and somehow got financial support for a master degree in «IT management». Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire The master-program (2 years) is not technical and focuses mostly on strategy and management. Most of my fellow students have technical backgrounds. I will work while studying, and the plan is to change teams to the RPA team so that I can get some IT experience. To remedy my lack of technical knowledge I plan to start with the Harvard cs50 online course.

Do you have any sugestions for other technical courses/skills that someone with my background should prioritize to become a good IT manager within a coupple of years?
