Why was artifact scanning removed from Kombustor? OC Scanner x has it :(

Hey guys, who developed OC Scanner X as well as MSI Kombustor?
As far as I know, MSI Kombustor is the only gpu test tool actively being developed? Furmark and EVGA OC SCANNER X has seemed to no longer be under development.

What I want to know is, obviously OC Scanner X and MSI Kombustor are very close to the same programs, so why was the useful (I really need it and loved it) artifact scanning option removed from the later versions? I've managed to get the latest version of OC Scanner X x64 to work on my PC with artifact scanning enabled on my AMD r9 strix card, but it's definitely not picking up artifacts. I'm curious as to why this feature was abandoned, and is there any way to re-enable it (even if it's a secret string to add in the .ini or whatever)?

Can this be added to Kombustor or is there a new currently in development GPU tool that has artifact scanning?
