How to Enable the Compositing under Linux Mint 15

Linux Mint 15 - compositing enabled
Linux Mint 15 – Compositing enabled

Like under Mint 13, the compositing is not enabled by default. I like to work with transparent terminals, and when the compositing is disabled, we get this:

Linux Mint 15 - compositing disabled

Compared to Mint 13, enabling the compositing under Mint 15 is different. Under Mint 13, you can enable the compositing in Marco (configuration editor). Under Mint 15, you have to open the Control Center, and click on the Windows icon of Desktop Settings:

Linux Mint 15 - compositing enabled in Control Center

Now the compositing is enabled:

Linux Mint 15 - compositing enabled
Linux Mint 15 – compositing enabled
