This is the upcoming monster card from ASUS. Currently the clock speeds are unknown but with such a 3-slot height custom VGA cooler, we hope this GTX 580 will have factory-overclocked settings. The PCB (printed circuit board) is also customized with a 8-phase VRM for the GPU to properly provide the power required by the 512 shader processors of the GF110 GPU. Two 8-pin PCI-E power connectors allow to relax the power provided by the PCI-Express slot (limited to 75W).
The card comes with two SLI connectors but I wonder how 3-way or 4-way SLI can be done with this mega triple-slot cooler…

looks very similar to zalman vf3000
What the heck is that thing?
Considering that even my 570s managed not to crush for 30secs in 3dmark 11, at 950/1900/1100, I bet this baby can do 1Ghz stable.
wow..what a monster!
gearing up for dual-gpu maybe?..get this out on the market now for end user “testing”
Meh sounds great but I still see no reason to update my two gtx 460 SLI (820/1640/2020) 😉
M dead X.X
a triple storied GPU
m dead again >,<
frying egg? hahaha
nshitia and partners, great shit!
Is it 1998 again. That is the dumbest card idea, rather than tie up 2 slots, why not tie up 2 slots!!. If AMD managed to fit two top GPU on one card successfully (Radeon 5970) then why the hell can’t asus/nvidia figure it out.
