Thermalright Shaman VGA Cooler Tested on a GTX 480 with FurMark

Thermalright Shaman VGA Cooler, GeForce GTX 480

The Expreview team has tested Thermalright’s bulky VGA cooler, the Shaman. The torture test includes a GeForce GTX 480 and FurMark 1.8.2:

The Shaman VGA cooler has been able to reduce the GPU temperature by 10°C in a nearly noiseless way. Cool! But this result is far from Thermalright’s SpitFire: the temperature of the GTX 480 GPU does not exceed 66°C with FurMark… Did I miss something?

  1. Athlonite

maybe because the Spitfire doesn’t sit right over the top of the GPU and did this have the IHS removed like with the spitfire

  2. die

pcb temperature are at overheated risk with this coolers? (sorry for my eng but I’m ita)
