AMD has added a new professional graphics card to its FirePro series: the FirePro V9800. The V9800 is based on a Cypress GPU (like the Radeon HD 5870) with 1600 stream processors and embarks 4GB of GDDR5 memory. This is priced at $3500. The TDP of the V9800 is 225W.
