Google has launched its own internet browser called Chrome.

You can download it here: Chrome @ Google.

From the first feedbacks, Chrome seems to be very fast, faster than FireFox 3.0. The interface is very neat, almot pure. But the EULA (end user licence agreement) seems to hide some bad things…

From this video, we learn Chrome is made of 3 fundamental blocks:

  • rendering engine (based on Apple Safari)
  • multi-processes technology: each tab runs in its own process: that makes the browser more stable
  • new and fast Javascript engine called V8
