Zhu3D: An interactive OpenGL Mathematical Function Viewer

Zhu3D is an interactive OpenGL-based mathematical function viewer. You can visualize functions, parametric systems and isosurfaces. The viewer supports special effects like animation, morphing, transparency, textures, fog and motion blur.

Zhu3D runs under Linux/Unix, Windows XP-Vista and Mac OS X (the graphical user interface – GUI – uses Qt) and supports different CPU’s as well as different API’s like KDE, Gnome or Motiv. Isosurface calculation currently supports up to 16 CPU-threads.

Ok that sounds good. So let’s try it:

Zhu3D - OpenGL Mathematical Function Viewer

Ooops… c’mon Zhu3D, you don’t recognize an OpenGL system like mine, this is a joke! Doesn’t matter. Let’s see the next:

Ah it’s better. Many samples are provided and you can changer the rendering mode (wireframe, solid, point). And for developers, full source code is packed into the archive. Cool!

LinceoVR realtime realistic rendering

LinceoVR is an innovative OpenGL real-time rendering engine with stereoscopic visualization, which uses state-of-the-art lighting techniques to generate and display – in real time – exceptionally realistic images in computer graphics, thanks the HDRI and OPENEXR lighting, to the dynamic management of shadows using Hard and Soft Percentage Closer Shadows algorithms and a new and innovative approach to global lighting, Natural Lighting, which offers even more realistic shadow rendering.
