I have AMD x6 1055T and GTX 480 w/ 260.99whql(default 3D setting) and you look my results (1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200 and 2560x1600*) -> http://www.esenthel.com/?id=benchmark/sci_fi

1920x1200: Win 7 x64 - 85 fps
                    XP-SP3 x86 - 93 fps
I got 54.744 fps at my 1st time - 2560x1600* and good luck because my CRT monitor 21" Samsung 1100P Plus works 2560x1600@60Hz.

* - I worked this resolution this on XP but I can't work on Win7 x64.


NOTICE: Tilde is not equal to ~ but yes '\' because I can't benchmark while I pressed key '~'.

I have CPU AMD x6 1055T (w/ GeForce GTX 480 ). I can't run AVX Cloth because this my CPU isn't AVX supported.
but I can run rest other demos by intel.

We remember that our gtx480 can't run on extreme preset due to driver fault. You must update 263.09whql (need inf modded) (it fixes crash).
You try benchmark after this new driver installed.
You digit "nuninho" using "Users Browser" to read my scores on site ComputeMark.

I tried 197.41whql and can run megademo1 (all files original ran w/ cuda 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 3.0) but I got black screen with "FPS:..." after zoom... 10 seconds after... I got crash without error message. lool  maybe due to driver issue. which is version geforce driver? or may any fermi card not work this demo?

I have GTX 480 w/ 263.09beta - CUDA 3.2.1 (win XP x86) but I can't run. I tried change name to "cudaraytracer.dll_" and I can run but I got error message after zoom inning.

I have GTX480 w/ 260.99whql running win7 x64 and I got 200~225 fps here down. -> - 64-bit

aah! Max high-end of generation 8xxx series was the "8800 Ultra". sorry for I mistaked.

Did your old 8800GTX die?

My old GF 6800 Ultra (dec 2004 ~ nov 2006) is dead and was scrapped. GF 8800GTS640 (nov 2006* ~ before new year 2009) was dead but I baked 8800GTS in oven on dec 2009 and this card can back life until now. loool but I don't bake yet 6800ultra (that reason).

*- My -> since july 2007 only.

My GTX480 got 35fps (99% gpu usage) at same resolution when this demo was beginning. My GTX480 VRAM got max 1360MB. Your GTX465 can't exceed to 1024MB due to max 1GB. But I recommend that you drop resolution to 1024x640 to improve performance.

You like max high-end videocard of generation (your old 8800GTX) but your GTX465 isn't max high-end of generation. Why??

Can your videocard work 100% (all features as alien(s) (man, woman...) and as to damage effects...) on this demo?
What is your videocard?

NOTE: I already bought new gtx480 but I don't plug it yet because I haven't new psu yet maybe until today...

hi!
this demo does not need gf11x (gt(s/x) 5x0). but it requires minimum dx11 (gt(s/x) 4x0 or better) but not any ati card because ati hasn't CUDA while it has ati stream (similar to CUDA).

I will buy gtx480 this week!
