Developed by our Mobile Visual Computing Research team, this tutorial will teach you the basics to get you quickly started with your Visual Computing project on Android using native C/C++ code. It covers the basics of Android native development, from setting up your tools to running your first native application; and it dives into more deeper topics related to Computer Vision using OpenCV , camera control using the FCam API, and high-performance Image Processing using ARM Neon and multi-threading. Other topics include profiling, debugging, and good software practices to keep you afloat as your project grows. Some of the contents and APIs shown are of experimental nature and supported only on the Tegra 3 prototypes, unless otherwise stated.
