Liquids are one phase of fluids in that that they take the shape of their container on all sides but one. This article explains how to turn polyhedra inside out to make containers. It also demonstrates one way to use lock-free atomic operations, exposed through Intel® Threading Building Blocks (Intel® TBB), to allow thread-safe parallelization. This article—the 14th in a series—adds rudimentary containers to the fluid particle system described earlier.
