NVIDIA has released a new set of graphics drivers for Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD. R331.38 comes with bugfixes and OpenGL improvements, and adds the possibility to control the brightness of the GeForce GTX LED logo via command line:

- brightness at 0%

nvidia-settings --assign GPULogoBrightness=0



- brightness at 100%

R331.38 is an OpenGL 4.4 and exposes 291 GL extensions + 28 GLX extensions. Compared to R331.20 for Linux, R331.38 removes the following OpenGL ES extension (like recent Windows versions of NVIDIA drivers):
