Guess that’s for those bitcoin miners.
I would not be suprised if NVIDIA’s next GPU uses lots of power. NVIDIA will OC their GPU until it thrashes the 7970 (even if it runs hot) just because NVIDIA hate losing to ATI (which they currently are with 580 vs 7970)
