NVIDIA R265.90 Adds Windows 8 Support and One New OpenGL Extension

NVIDIA R265.90 is a WHQL driver intended for the new Quadro NVS 300 (16 CUDA cores, 512MB DDR3 / 64-bit, TDP: 17.3W, OpenGL 3.3). But with a modded inf file (you can find it at laptopvideo2go, follow the links below), you can install it on every recent GeForce (GTX 4xx, GTX 580).
R265.90 prepares the arrival of Windows 8. At the line 713 of the original inf (Win7 64-bit) file we can read:
%NVIDIA_WIN8% = NVIDIA_SetA_Devices,NTamd64.6.0,NTamd64.6.1,NTamd64.6.2
And at line 2757:
DiskID1 = “NVIDIA Windows Vista / 7 / 8 (64 bit) Driver Library Installation Disk 1″

meh, this is just another Release 260 branch pos with broken CL Julia.
yep I don’t understand why they don’t manage to put a fixed version of OpenCL clBuildProgram on their driver…
Is it only Julia test that broken?
For me it seems all the OpenCL tests are broken .
@JEskandari: yep you’re right, I haven’t tested the other OpenCL demos but they are all broken. Crappy driver!
Someone else can confirm that regression?

back to the 263.06 dev driver for me i think
that driver is for quadro… Fucking look before you download…
this one seems to have support for sli mosaic!!

I re-checked and all OpenCL crashed on GTX465 as well.
The drivers with broken clbuildprogram crash in nvcompiler.dll,this one crashes in nvcuda.dll calling clGetPlatformInfo

Hello, everyone. I have a question and i hope someone can answer, I have a dell m90 with an nvidia quadro fx2500m and it seems that does not support opengl 3 or 4, does anyone has a way to fix this, I already tried updating the driver from dell, but its the same.
