NVIDIA R260.93 Graphics Driver: OpenCL clBuildProgram Fixed!

GPU Caps Viewer 1.9.2 – Julia4D OpenCL demo is okay
With the release of Parallel Nsight 1.5, NVIDIA has published a new set of graphics drivers. R260.93 finally fixes the bug with the OpenCL function clBuildProgram() that made the Julia 4D OpenCL demo to crash since GPU Caps Viewer 1.8.8.

GPUShark + R260.93 = OK
R260.93 is an OpenGL 4.1 driver.
You can download R260.93 here:
What’s more, R260.93 adds one new OpenGL extension (for a total of 244 extensions): WGL_NV_DX_interop that allows some kind of interoperability between OpenGL and Direct3D. WGL_NVX_DX_interop extension is already exposed but limited to DX9 and maybe WGL_NV_DX_interop brings the DX10/11 support (see HERE for more details).
And here are the 15 OpenCL extensions exposed by R260.93:
- cl_khr_byte_addressable_store
- cl_khr_icd
- cl_khr_gl_sharing
- cl_nv_d3d9_sharing
- cl_nv_d3d10_sharing
- cl_khr_d3d10_sharing
- cl_nv_d3d11_sharing
- cl_nv_compiler_options
- cl_nv_device_attribute_query
- cl_nv_pragma_unroll
- cl_khr_global_int32_base_atomics
- cl_khr_global_int32_extended_atomics
- cl_khr_local_int32_base_atomics
- cl_khr_local_int32_extended_atomics
- cl_khr_fp64

What is a difference between this driver and WHQL driver 260.89 on NVIDIA driver page? It is only newer one or has something what official drivers doesn’t support and it is supported only by developers drivers like this one.
I’d guess that one of the fixes is the title of this very post.
I’ll give it a try ’cause I’m having some very strange clock resets on my 460.
