VirtualBox running MSI Kombustor and GPU Caps Viewer
A new version of VirtualBox is up for grabs. The version 3.2.8 is a maintenance release. In the OpenGL side, this new version fixes a bug related to the GL_EXT_texture_sRGB extension. The complete changelog is available HERE.

I trying to ask, is Vbox use hardware for 3D or is just software, i get only 1.4 OGL on my Intel G31 is that it?
With the guest additions, VB uses the host graphics hardware for 3D rendering. But currently, VB is limited to OpenGL 2.1 so even on a GTX 400, you can’t execute GL 3 or GL 4 demos.
GL 1.4 on Intel ? I guess it’s okay…
Wow that sounds awesome, do you get 1:1 performance from the GPU?
Thank you, i was cheapskate on my IGP GPU, G41 boards supports OGL 2 and never higher probably.
I ask because i try that MSI Kombuster and show me error about OGL just 1.4.
@Robin Stjerndorff: the GPU is used but the FPS is limited to the screen Vsync (60Hz).
@filip007: The error is okay because Kombustor needs an OpenGL 2.x support. I don’t know if Intel plans to add some GL 3 support in their drivers.
