You’ve got the version numbers wrong.

    8.702-100202a (02/02/10) is Cat10.2 WHQL.
    8.71.3-100205a (05/03/10 is Cat10.3 Press Preview.

    8.712.3-100313a (13/03/10) is Cat10.3a for Desktops.
    8.712-100302b (02/03/10) isMobility Cat10.3a for Laptops.

    You’ve reinstalled Cat 10.2 WHQL 8.702
