[Book] Programming Massively Parallel Processors: A Hands-on Approach

David B. Kirk (NVIDIA) and Wen-mei Hwu (University of Illinois) have collaborated in the writing of a new 256-page book about the basic concepts of parallel programming and GPU architectures.
The book code samples utilize OpenCL and C for CUDA (I hope 50% OpenCL and 50% CUDA and not 10% OpenCL and 90% CUDA…). The price will be around 50 euros.

Hefty price tag for at 256 (intended?) page book. It better be good.
I hear that SimTex, it had not be CUDA only with a tad of OpenCL, I want more OpenCL honestly.
It was intended as a text-book (but is also a great desk reference) and has a great companion site… might have something to do with the price point.
