YouTube Adds Stereoscopic Player for 3D Visualization

Youtube 3D view

The 3D view or stereoscopic player is the new gadget added to YouTube. It’s really simple to 3D feature to your videos: just add the tag yt3d:enable=true in the tags list of your video. You can find other tags HERE. Once you find a video with the 3D enabled, you have to see it with red and blue glasses. I tested this new gadget with a model made by Satyr (with Blender of course!). I don’t have the red and blue glasses but I’m not convinced by the result. Anyway, this 3D feature is experimental, so wait and see…

The 3D view seems to work only on Youtube website. So click on the Youtube logo to jump to the video page at Youtube.

    Hey Guys,

I know of an Israeli Company named “Taatua” that has been developing such a 3D solution for real time systems.
I have seen a few samples and the result is surprisingly really good.
Has anyone else heard of them?? you can check their website at, not much there but contact info.
