ATI Radeon HD 4770 Specifications
This new Radeon video card is the flagship product of cards based on the RV740 GPU. The RV740 is AMD’s first 40nm GPU and this card is meant to compete with NVIDIA’s Geforce 9800 GT.
The launch is planned for the beginning of May 2009.
Radeon HD 4770 main features:
- GPU: RV740 @ 750MHz
- Shader cores: 640
- Memory: 512Mb GDDR5 @ 3200MHz / 128-bit
- Texture units: 32
- ROPs: 16
- Direct3D 10.1 and OpenGL 2/3
- Price: around 90 euros.

This will be an interesting product. Judging by how close to the 4850 the 4750@650mhz got (Guru3D), i bet that the 4770 will be equal to the 4850. The 40nm could bring some impressive room for overclocking too! After all, it will have an external power connector, so power wouldn’t be a problem if the VRM is sufficient to cope with it. At 90euros, it will be a no brainer!
Now, no matter how good it will be, we don’t call an rv740 product as “flagship”, even if it is the highest in it’s category!:P

i suppose that all of you are right..but let me ask you something..i want to buy this video card because i have heard much for it , but i don’t really know the real truth abaout it. so tell me..is it good? i mean could i play all games on this card or is better to buy 9800?? is the difference betwin them big???
