DX Studio Winter 2008 Competition Entries

DX Studio Demo



The developers of DX Stuio have released the entries of their Winter 2k8 contest. Demos are in bytecode format and you need the DX Studio player to enjoy them.

I believe it’s the first time I see a DX Studio demo in real. I only tested the DX Pool demo. Graphically speaking it’s not a top-notch prod but it’s correct (but soft shadows would have been better than stencil shadow volumes) BUT the big problem seems to be the physics behind billiard balls that slows down the FPS…
