The Future of Gaming: Dell XPS 730x with Core i7 and GeForce GTX 280

Dell’s new monster comes with a Core i7 965 Extreme Edition (3.2GHz, 8MB cache), 6Gb DDR3 at 1066MHz and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 (single card option) or a pair of ATI Radeon HD 4850 in Crossfire (dual cards option). Why Dell limits the graphics cards choice? Why not also a Radeon HD 4870, or a Radeon HD 4870 X2 (or Radeon HD 4870 X2 Quad Crossfire) or a 3-Way SLI of GTX 280? Too powerful for Dell maybe… The price? Humm… around 4000$US…
